A new investment consulting firm based in Phnom Penh and targeting Cambodian and international companies launched.
Cheng Fung Investment specializes in the real estate, hospitality and finance sectors, providing advice on investment, management and marketing for clients as varied as hotels, restaurants, real estate developers, construction companies, banks, microfinance organizations and insurance companies.
Buth Kerady, the company’s director general, speaking at the launching ceremony, said their goal is to boost economic activity in all 25 provinces.
She added now is the right time to open a consulting business in the Kingdom, explaining that the country is at peace, politically stable and developing fast. Moreover, she said, the number of foreign investors interested in the country’s real estate, tourism and hospitality industries is growing quickly.
“With professionalism and honesty, our company will offer consulting services that will help form strong business partnerships and boost investment into the country,” Ms Kerady said.
Cambodia’s Deputy Prime Minister Men Sam An, who attended the ceremony, said the company will play an important role in increasing trade with China.
“Cheng Fung Investment will not only draw foreign investment and tourists to Cambodia; they will also improve the economic relationship and increase trade between Cambodia and other countries, particularly China,” she said.
